Currently our browsing seems to be having the following
problems and I would like advice.
When browsing My Network Places and looking at entire
content only 19 machines show up instead of 100+. This
problem is also happening on our Master browser. Once in
a while a PC will show everything in the network but then
it will go back down to only 19 machines. Another problem
that seems to happen is that when users log on they cannot
get to any shared drives. (Work around was done by
putting IP addresses in the login script instead of UNC
names)
We have looked at browsmon and each time we go in
different machines seem to come in as our browsers. I
understand that different segments will have different
browsers but the domain master does not seem to be sharing
its information with anyone.
Does anyone have any ideas of what we could try?
