browser keeps downloading pages

i am able to connect to my isp, but am unable to view any
webpages. At first the home page kept reseting
to "www.windowws.cc" and tried to download a
file "index.html" to my desktop, used adaware as thought
is was spyware. Now just keeps trying to download the
page & not display it.

Any Ideas.
