Hello,
I unfortunately deleted my "Browser Helper Objects" folder in the
registry by mistake. How can I get it back ?
If I system reset will I lose work and/or programs I have saved or
installed recently?
Please help.

Thanks in advance
Lois

Lois,

As Will said. But, note that Windows XP installation does not add any
Browser Helper Objects as they're not mandatory for normal operation of
Windows or IE. If you install a third-party toolbar or any other browser
plugin, a BHO entry may be added by the corresponding application.

Hi Will & Ramesh,
Thanks for your prompt reply, and explanation.
I now understand it a bit better, as I did the system reset and still
did not get the browser object folder to return. I did actually have a
toolbar installed at one time, and later removed, therefore the
browser object folder.
Thanks for your expertise
Have a nice weekend
Lois
