IE 7--webpage does not show

Hi;
I've recently (made the mistake) of loading Internet Explorer 7
(v.7.0.5730.13) on to my WindowsXP home (SP2). The result being no webpages
will show up. I have reviewed the Microsoft support pages for possible
solutions--(ie: Reset IE 7, disable addons, delete browser history, etc.,).
Please note Run System Restore is not an option for me. Is there a solution
to this problem, can I uninstall IE 7, and reinstall IE 6 (I do not have my
original installation disks--i would need to obtain a download of IE 6 in
this case). Your assitance is greatly appreciated--

You should be able to go to add/remove programs and remove IE7.

There is no need to manually reinstall IE6. After IE7 is uninstalled,
you are left with IE6.

When you are ready to install IE7, look at this page for the proper way
