browser does not accept "cookies"

I cannot access some downloads or web pages because my
browser "does not acept cookies". I run windows 98 and
have upgraded to interner explorer 6.0. I have adjusted
all settings to accept all cookies. This error has
occurred only since I reformatted my computer recently.

I would suggest that you have a corrupt cookie, or the cookie folder in its
entirety is corrupt. For advice on how to fix your problem, have a look at
