Browser choice

I stupidly downloaded the 'Browser Choice' update and can't get rid of it.
I'd made my browser choices before downloading (I use IE, Chrome and
sometimes Firefox), so I don't want to pick another one. But I can't get rid
of the update: every time I reboot it comes up, with an annoying 'Certificate
cannot be verified' message as well (from Windows????). I don't want ever to
see this browser choice message again: how do I permanently get rid of it?
