Brother TN6300 TN6600 toner identification query

I have a Brother laser printer. I was wondering if anyone can tell me
how to distinguish between a 3000 page TN6300 and 6000 page TN6600
laser toner cartridge.

I recently bought a remanufactured TN6600 toner but all the labels had
been removed. It seems to be the same size and shape as my original
empty TN6300 toner.

Is the 6300 exactly the same as the 6600 except the former has less
toner powder put into it at the factory, or is there more to it?

You have it right. the cartridges are identical except that the 6300 has less
toner. There are no other differences except the labels.
