I recently installed Windows XP home edition, and now when I try to play a
DVD I get a error message that I need a decoder. Long story short, I
downloaded a decoder diagnostic tool that says that I have a "broken codec"
WMVideo 9 Decoder DMO. Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks
Tom

1. Open XP's "Help and Support Center"
2. Type DVD in the search box, hit enter.
3. Click on "DVD Troubleshooter".
4. You probably need a new DVD decoder.
