I have tried setting up 2 friends pcs on broadband using
Windows 2000. On both occasions the connection is just
through a modem, no router. I then get a message about
lsass.exe that it is closing the computer down. I have
noticed that the memory usage mounts up quickly. If I
then connect the pc through a firewall, it works ok. Is
there an incompatibility between Windows 2000 and
broadband?
