Brightmail quarantine failure to read any emails in quarantine, other issues ...

We have brightmail 6.04 installed on our exchange 2003 server. I
recently had to do disaster recovery, basically I copied back all the
files and folders in their custom locations for Brightmail.. then
installed the fresh install ontop of these files (some of the
brightmail files, may possiblily have been corrupted and didnt get
copied before the install). It does appear all settings have been
kept and look good though.

Now if i attempt to click on the quarantine tab.. I get the error:

"Cannot read all the spam messages from the database."

These errors are also in the logs:

11 Jun 2007 14:19:20 (ERROR:4160.6372): [4019] Module SMTP_DIRECT
failed on message D:\Program Files\Symantec\SBAS\Scanner\BmiSpool\spam
\6172.1181585640.1576: processing halted.

11 Jun 2007 14:19:20 (ERROR:4160.6372): [30017] Error reading from
SMTP server: smtp_send_and_get_result.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix these?

Thanks

BrightMail is an anti spam application and is not subject matter for an anti virus News
Group.

I suggest a spam related News Group or check in the Symantec.* hierarchy for BrightMail
support.
