break the startup on XP into realmode...what shortcut key do i use?

I need to get into realmode on XP how is it done at the
startup?

and by start up i mean the boot process ^_^ v

There is no real mode in XP. You can access the Recovery Console which
provides various functions but there is no real mode. For information about
the recovery console, go to Start, open Help and Support, type Recovery
Console in the search box and press enter.

If there is some other reason why you need "real mode," please ask the
specific question and perhaps we can help you perform that function in XP.
