What is the rule of thumb with new 2006 hardware for GC hardware
sizing. Is it worth going with 2 CPUs now that they are 3.2Ghz? 2GB
of RAM? In this particular office we have a 1100 machines. There is
another GC there that is a PIII with 256MB of RAM.

It more depends on how big You DIT file - BTW it would be wise to invest
in x64 machines.
