I gave some great computer/XP related advise and it got pulled off the MS
server, just because I called someone a "FROG," and that he didn't know much
about computers. I think you all know who I mean.

What is this world coming to when you can't even make fun of the French?!

Oh, I'm not complaining about this one. I was wondering if it was just

Thanks that's what i thought was likely. However being a
boring beginner I don't understand very much after the
word no!

That's because he's a Frog that really doesn't know shit about computers.

On my HP computer there is a partition that
contains the windows xp back up. How can I tell if it has
the other programs on it? There was an opportunity to
burn a ''recovery disc'' just once. This ''disc'' covers
6 cdr's which I can't seem to tell exactly whats on them.

Your recovery partition SHOULD restore your computer to they way you got it
from the factory. However, should you need to use get back one of those
programs everything you added to the computer after you first started it up
will be gone by using your recovery partition.

Norton Cleansweep can remove those programs for you, and back them up, but
as with most Norton Products it is rather inconsistent, and I really
wouldn't recommend any Norton product.

Why do you want to do this? Are you looking to clear up some harddrive
space? Because if you are you really are better off just buying a second
harddrive, and if you think that it is beyond your abilities, there are some
great, easy to use USB2 harddrives out there.
