Bought wrong version; Need to return it?

I have XP-Media Edition on my computer. I bought Vista Home Basic and now
understand that it cannot be installed over Media Edition without having all
files and settings deleted.

I would like to purchase Premium instead. Is it possible I can somehow just
pay an extra $50 and download it? I don't know if I can return my Home Basic
to the store because I wrote on my Quick Start Guide cover already.

Call Microsoft, I believe there is a money back for so many days It was 45 or 60 days not sure if it is still that.
Than just buy the Premium edition.
