I got this computer off of a guy who used it for gaming, he has programs in
the computer I dont want and some of the original programs dont seem to work
like the musicmatch jukebox. I just want to start fresh and I dont want to be
able to find any trace of previous memory. I want it to be like new.

Well - depending on the Dell and the package the original owner purchased -
there will be different ways of restoring it to factory default. Did you
get the CDs that came with it?

Different vintage Dells use different methods. Instructions are available
from Dell Support. (as are all the drivers you may need)
