border troubles

I am doing wills with borders around the page text. I want to type the firm
name below the border at the bottom of the page, but can't seem to do this.
The text always seems to be above the border - it just expands the footer
section.

Suggestions?

Hi, Georgea. Go to Format-->Borders and shading, Page border tab. Change the
dropdown from "Edge" to "Text", and then tell it NOT to surround the footer.

If you set the border "From text" instead of "From edge of page," you have
the option to "Surround header" and "Surround footer" or not.
