Booting

When I try and boot my system, on the post screen is says press F1 to resume or press F12 to boot from network. How do I get rid of this option? I've checked the BIOS but there is nothing in there to disable. I've downloaded the most up to date BIOS drivers but nothing changed. Does anybody know what to do? Thanks for any help

That is a BIOS issue and has nothing to do with windows XP.
Look for something like "Reset defaults" in the BIOS and set it.
Try another battery, normally CR2032 about the size of a nickel.
Otherwise check your manual or contact the manufacturer.
