Booting XP in DOS mode

I want to know how to boot windows XP in dos mode, I asked
Sony, my manufactor how to, and they said it was
impossible. Yeah, well, there all packastanies living in
India and right now I'm pissed off becasue you microsoft
pricks want to charge me, a 16 year old kid, 35 dman
dollers to talk with someone for about 2 minutes. THAT IS
REDICULOUS! Dont give me that bullshit about how it is not
the manucatuors responsibility, YOU made this program, YOU
made windows suck, YOU made it so I would preferr DOS and
YOU made it so I cant boot in DOS ONLY mode (cram that word
ONLY in your head becasue safe mode with dos is not helping
me out)

I just want to know how to do it, please tell me.

It IS impossible. Windows XP does NOT have a "DOS mode", and therefore it is
impossible to reboot Windows XP in DOS mode.

I guess that "packastanies", whatever they are, are smarter than you. Not
only did they have the correct answer, but I bet they also know what a
spell-checker is.

Windows xp does not have a dos mode to boot into. It has no dos at all.

Why are you calling other people names when you are the one who does not
know what he is talking about.

Now if you could tell us, calmly and clearly, why you want to boot to dos
maybe someone would be nice and tell you a way windows xp could be made to
do whatever it is you want it to do. I would not count on too many helpful
replies from India, however.

I think you should worry less about turning winxp into dos mode and more
about turning yourself into a ration human being.

Greetings --

There is no way to reboot a WinXP PC into Real Mode DOS unless
you've set up a dual-boot system. The WinNT family of 32-bit
graphical operating systems, of which WinXP is the latest generation,
has never used or included MS-DOS. The closest they have is the
Command Prompt window.

WinXP, like its predecessors WinNT & Win2K, is a pure 32-bit GUI
OS, and does not include or "ride upon" any version of DOS, as did
Win3.x & Win9x/Me. WinXP does include a command-line emulator for
those times when GUI applets are unnecessary/redundant, but it cannot
be started in "DOS mode."
