booting up problems w/win 2000 professional

T

Tom Huffman

Greetings,

I am trying to load windows 2000 professional on a
reformatted hard drive. I made the 4 boot disks, and am
receiving error messages such as; setupreg.hiv error code
512, file\ntkrnlmp.exe error code 7, file corrupt, and
when i run the boot disks in sequence as instructed, I
keep have to restart the computer. I'm almost at my wits
end here. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Tom

Sounds like you might have corrupt boot disks. Try creating new boot disks
and see if the problem's still occuring.
