boot disk set up for WIN XP Professional

I am loading WIN XP Professional vis the 6 boot disks and
got an error code '7' could not load file\ntkrnlmp.exe.
What is the solution?

Probably a bad disk, make another set. Why are you using the boot disk set?
The XP CD is bootable.
You boot from the CD and do a clean install.

True, but often, for whatever reason, many systems lose that basic
function even tho all settings in the bios are correct.
