Booting Up Problem

Hi!
Over the last few weeks I have intermittently been having a problem with
booting up. Sometimes Windows XP boots up to the desktop, but does not
complete booting up. (I know this by the MS Office toolbar and Zonealarm not
appearing). I can open any folder on the desktop but cannot open any program.
The only solution is to reset the computer via the reset button. Usually the
computer then reboots ok and there are no further problems.
Can anyone help me with this? I've run my virus scanners and adaware
scanners which report everything is ok. My main concern is that the problem
will happen more often.

I have the same problem on two different systems after install of SP2.
Looks like some kind of timing problem? Both of my systems have Gigabyte
boards, GA8IPE100PRO and GA8IPe1000PRO-G.
