How do I stop my computer from booting to the built-in administrator?

Thanks. I used the "control userpasswords2" command to straighten it out

I obviously didn't quite get the point of your post then - I assumed from
what you said that your machine was automatically starting up in The
Administrator Account. Is that not what was happening?

No. For some reason the computer would boot to the built-in Administrator
instead of the administrator that is set up in my name.

That's OK. I understand my discription wasn't very complete. Sorry

Odd. I've never seen that before.....

It happened when I unchecked "Users must enter a user name and password to
use this computer" in "control userpasswords2" There are three entries in
"Users for this computer:". Administrator (Administrator), Guest(Guest) and
Randy Molitor(Administrator). It won't let me delete the "Administrator"
User Name because it is built-in I guess.

that's correct - The Administrator is there for when (not if!) your user
account fouls up!

Thanks Gordon
