Hi,

My homebuilt running Windows XP SP2 is about two years old and is
running great, but I have a problem when trying to reboot. I'm scared
to shut off my computer because it usually hangs during reboot. It
hangs right after the windows screeen and then just starts to reboot
again. The only way to avoid is to boot in safe mode then completely
shutdown then start up again. And that doesn't always work. Any
suggestions about how to fix this? I've removed some of the latest
programs and it still is hanging like this.

Thanks,
T

This may be a Silly MS setting.go > Windows Key+Pause key to bring up
the System Properties(it's the quick way) then Advanced/Startup and
Recovery and disable the Automatically Restart. It's a useless option
and can cause no end of bovver :P
