Booting from Installation Disk

How do I boot from the CD Installation disk to get to
XP Repair to troubleshoot explorer hangup?
 
Set your BIOS so the CD drive is the first boot device, insert the XP CD and
boot.
 
On many systems there is also a function key you
can press right after motherboard post (the first beep)
that will allow you to select the boot drive. On many
systems this is F8.
