Hi all.
A question regarding bootable DVD discs. I can do so quite handily and have
done so for about 6 months. Now, I have a Dell Insiron 1100 that i am trying
to create a bootable DVD Source disk (the original is faulty). Any way, I've
copied the contents of anothe rOEM XP Home cd to a working dir. I then used
ISO buster to grab the Microsoft Image file. Then burn away. All is well, it
boots and I seemed to be happy.
However, Setup is always asking me to insert the Windows XP Home SP1 CD. The
label is correct and the files are correct. I've done this I dont' know how
many times yet this one is stubborn.
Does anyone have any ideas?
ps: Yup, I can get the original from Dell, but this is one of those
adventures and mysteries that I just need to embark on an resolve.
TX in advance.
