Bootable CD

Using WindowsXP, an HP9700 CD Writer and HPDLA and
RecordNow software. Is it possible to make a bootable CD
with this lot? If not what do I need?

Yes, but you will need a Win98 or WinME Startup Disk or a disk image from a web site.

You can then tell you CDROM creation software to you want a bootable disk and it will get
the Boot Files off the floppy.

RecordNow is a fairly 'Lite' program, and AFAIK does not do the more
sophisticated things like Boot Disks. For that you need one of the full
version 'mastering' programs. RecordNowMax - from www.stompinc.com
would be able to, and continue to look like your RecordNow, and at $40
for a download is about as cheap as you will find, unless you can find a
special offer of Nero or EasyCD Creator at a discount store. All have
trial download versions

Either way I would retain your DLA and not install the InCD or Drag to
Disk that comes with those other packages
