Bootable CD/DVD question

Some CD/DVD burning software like my Nero 6 offer to make a bootable CD .
Seems pretty handy for those of us without a floppy drive. Would someone
please provide a list of files to drag to be burned onto said CD/DVD.

You have to make a bootable floppy with all the files you need.
Nero will use this floppy to make the CD bootable.

What OS do you want your bootable CD to boot to?
 
Windows XP-SP2 Home Edition. And for Gary above, I don't have a floppy
drive. Thanks, Steve T
 
Then you need to source an image compilation of a boot diskette instead.
That's the 2nd option for Boot CD under Nero 5.5 Burning Rom, not sure about
the version you are running as wasn't indicated.
You NEVER indicated what OS you want to boot to from the CD.

Your question is not an XP question BTW. In light of this, you can find the
image file on your own. Or, have someone with a floppy drive make you one.
