I have a laptop I need to fix. It keeps coming up with this message at startup

lass.exe
When trying to update a password, this return status indicates that the
value provided as the current password is not correct.

I have taken out the HDD and done a full Virus Scan and Micrososft
Antispware scan, but still having problems. I have a boot cd with Locksmith
to change all the passwords, still no luck.

LSASS.EXE is part of the IE. Reinstalling this program may help: "How
to Reinstall or Repair Internet Explorer and Outlook Express in
Windows XP" (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=318378).

How could I do this if I can't log into Windows, It keeps rebooting.
