Boot up Problem

P

P.R.

When I boot up in XP the opening screen is my documents.
Does anybody know how I can stop this happening so that
the first screen is my Windows desktop?

Thanks in advance

I don't know about your particular problem, but there is a boot
configuration utility built in that lets you control what loads during boot.
At a "dos/run" prompt, type in msconfig and hit enter. click on the start
up tap. Anything checked loads when you boot.
Another helpful one is dxdiag which will tell you a lot about your system.
