When I boot up my computer, Windows Media Player opens
up. I am not sure why this is happening. Any Ideas??

First place to look - for a shortcut to WMP - is under START|ALL|START UP
If found, delete that shortcut.

If nothing there, click START|RUN
Type "msconfig" (no quotes) <enter>
Click the START UP tab
See if WMP player is shown as an item there
If so, UNcheck it

Make a shortcut to your program. Right click...choose Properties. Select
the shortcut tab. In the Run window select NORMAL (rather than maximized).
Open your program, click and drag it to the size you want. To insure it
"remembers", hold down the CTRL key while clicking on the X at the right top
to close the program. Now it should open in the size you selected.
