Boot up of windows

After booting up and my desktop appears with icon, it
takes 1 minute and 20 seconds before I hear the costomary
windows tone. At this time I can use the computer. Can
anyone help me.

So the problem is that your computer takes long to boot? Or that you can't
use the computer until the tone? How fast is your computer? How much RAM do
you have? Hard drive size/free space? Try removing cd's from the cd-rom
drive, floppies from the floppy drive.
