All of a sudden one morning while booting up, immediately
after the windows log, I get a black screen. No cursor, no
pointer, nothing. It boots OK in safe mode. I have run
every kind of virus check I can think of and every kind of
disk utility to check the hard drive. Everything is OK. I
tried reloading XP and it load fine untile it gets to the
part where it restarts, then "black screen". Could it be a
video card problem?? Doesn't the computer change scan
rates immediately after the windows logo? HELP!!!

Try downloading and reinstalling your video driver while
in safe mode.
