boot reboot win xp sp2

i have a very big problem every time i boot my pc it reboots for 5-6 times
continiously before even load the hdd the when it moves on, the monitor its
turned off and i have to turn them both off and on again.Then it loads
windows and all of the sadden while i am working in it reboots and again and
again, i am virusfree my windows are fully updated and i dont have nothing
extra hardware i mean that i didnt had before where the pc worked fine
Any ideas?

a customer of mine had this same problem and I found that it was a memory
problem. I would check what you have for memory installed and if it is more
than one DIMM try removing one and boot the computer. If it still happens try
switching them out to see which one is the bad one.
