Hi I have xp home on my HP laptop. it ran great until
today. now when I bootup it gets past post boot screen
the initial windows is loading screen flashes my desktop
then drops back to a blue background windows xp screen
not the famous windows blue screen but another one that
fits about half the page. i attempted safe mode it did
the same thing can't fully load into safe or xp. last
time i just did a windows repair with the cd and it
worked. I checked for viruses and spybots etc. none
found.I checked bios date and time it is correct. do you
have any other suggestions besides a repair?
thanks,
john
