Recently my PC's power - from the plug - was terminated
accidentaly, and now when ever I turn on my PC, It tells
me it was shutdown incorrectly and asks me to select
either Safe Mode OR Start Windows Normally - Every option
brings up a blue screen with white writing with the error
'UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME' I have found the article http://
support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;297185
and found out I have a Damaged File System! I can't boot
to the Recovery Console as I have no disks only a Red
Recovery console (no disks came with the PC) And when I
try and run the recovery diskette it tells me it is unable
to find COMMAND.COM and asks me to locate it but even
though I do it is unable to find it

Help would be so much appreciated asap

Thanks - DJWalker

I would go to http://freepctech.com/pc/002/files010.shtml
and create a boot disk. You could download command.com and
replace your own file with it (or just locate the file
from its original location on floppy or cd.) You could
also try to use fdisk from dos. I am not familiar with the
recovery console, so I am not sure whether you can access
dos or not. Hope this helps!
