Boot problem

My computer is behaving oddly upon initialization
( I have to reset one or two times to boot up )

When I run msconfig/startup it shows a checked item ,
whitch is blank ( meaning it's not related to any aplication )

It points to HKLocal Machine\software\microsoft\windows\
currentversion\run

This Registry entry has no name ,no values and no link to
any program

The line shows :
ab(default) REG_SZ ( no program specification - no values)

I ran two virus scanners , adware , spybot , and
TweakNow RegCleaner Pro - No problems found

Is this key supposed to exist ??

Thanks
( windows XP Pro , SP2 , with hotfixes )

the entry seems to be a common occurrence
when a registry key is removed but the orphan
lingers in the msconfig.

you know that there is a freeware
that i like very much called autoruns
by sysinternals.com

if you run it, look for that orphan,
uncheck it to disable it then double
clikc the file name and the
registry will open up automatically
and disable the key.

deleting the items is also an option
avail to you as well as rechecking
the process and eanbling in the registry..
