Boot Manager

Vista no longer loads automatically. The boot manager now appears first
showing Vista as the only option which I select to start Vista. I don't know
why this happens and would like to know why, and how to eliminate the need
for the boot manager. Vista is the only operating system I have installed.

Go to the Control Panel > System > Advanced System Properties in the left
pane. Under Startup and Recovery, click settings. In there you can uncheck
the "Time to display list of operating systems:"

What other information does it give you on that screen? It may be another
boot manager other than Vista.

Unfortunatley your suggestion didn't work. I do thank you though for your
help.

Before I answered your question about what the screen contained Dustin, I
loaded a copy of EasyBCD at the sugestion of Andre. Using EasyBCD I repeated
your first suggestion Dustin, and now boot manager no longer loads first.
Thanks to both of you for your help.
