how does one find out what is loading when you logon on a multiple user
set up with win. XP
is there some kind of log kept after one logs on? Where?

You can enable boot logging if you access the safe mode screen
This will then give a list of both drivers & apps loaded by file name (not
descriptive name ie blahblah.exe)
