Boot from CF, run from Ramdisk?

Is it possible to boot from a CF card, and then have the WXPe OS copied to a
ramdisk and execute from there?

If possible, does anyone know of any step-by-step guides, articles,
tutorials on doing that?

Richard,

It is certainly possible. This feature is called RAM SDI boot. You can boot to the final SDI file locally (using rdpath notation of
ArcPath in boot.ini) or remotely (Remote Boot feature of XPe).
There are some limitations to the SDI approach, though. Such as the SDI file size (< 500Mb).

The procedure is slightly different than the one you asked about. Also, no really a need to run through FBA on a CF. You can use HDD
for that.
