OK, I have a Windows XP Home Edition machine. It WILL NOT
boot up. It gives a "Boot.ini is corrupted" then it trys
to boot directly from the windows directory. And it gives
me a file is missing or corrupt error. I have tried to
make a boot disk using Microsoft Web site's instructions,
but it gives a "non-system disk inserted" error. I have
even tried putting in my Windows XP Home Edition CD-Rom,
but it just completly ignores it. What should I do?!

Do you have the boot order set in the BIOS, so that it
will boot from floppy or CD-ROM first?
