how do i make a start up boot-diskett also how can i make
a back-up using a cd-rom? and why do i get an error
message that says[ nt on- accsess scanner failed ] every
time i turn on computer?

1) The Windows XP CD-ROM is bootable for all your repair/install needs.
2) NTBackup doesnt support writing to CD's. Your best bet is to purchase a
third party program like Norton Ghost.
3) nt on- accsess scanner is part of McAfee's products. Reinstall and
update them or contact McAfee for support.
