boot disk (CD)... not pertaining to setup/install

Somehow my NTLDR got hosed and I am trying to boot with a CD. I
remember getting it to correctly work before but now cannot get it to
work.

I followed the instructions at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/305595
on how to make the floppy. I used WinImage to create boot.ima.

I fired up Nero and made a CD-ROM boot disk, choosing the above .ima.
I used expert settings, the first CD I used no emulation and the
second disk I used 1.44 emulation. Neither one will boot.

I have the following files on my floppy when I image it:
boot.ini
ntldr
ntdetect.com

I have added an additional line in the boot.ini so I will be able to
see the menu if and when the CD boots.

Do you have a Windows XP CD? Why not just boot to the Recovery Console
and copy the file (ntldr) from the CD to the root of the System partition?

What happens when you try to boot the floppy? Is the boot order
properly set in the BIOS? If you don't have a Windows NT type computer
try downloading the setup floppies and follow the instructions in the
article to create the startup diskette.
