i can no longer boot up my computer as the boot/bcd file is miising or
corrupt i found a windows artical on how to fix it and it didnt work ive also
tryedd googleing the problem and got many results but none that seem to fit
the problem or are helpful what can i do to solve this

i ve tried running the startup repair but it comes back saying that it
cannot detect the opperating system even though vista is installed

You probably need to install a driver (SATA perhaps) when running the startup
repair so that it can see the hard drive.

it used to display it when i had previous problems but where can i find the
drivers as the hd didnt come with one.

It will be a motherboard chipset driver. Is it a SATA harddrive? What
computer do you have? What motherboard?

I looked on the ECS site and could not find that model motherboard. In order
to find the IDE/SATA or RAID drivers you will need the specific motherboard
model, preferably including version.

how do i install drivers if vista cannot run
and it used to show the operating system but since this fault it stopped
thanks
