Need info on boot process.

Can anyone direct me to a good comprehensive artical on Vista's boot
process?

I've come across a lot of references to the BCD Store, bootmgr, the boot
directory etc. But I'm having trouble finding one artical that explains the
new boot process step by step.

Thanks, that "BCD Editor FAQs" artical is helpful. But what I'm looking for
is some sort of whitepaper that explains the bootstrap loader process, files
required to start Vista and their locations. I'm looking for an explaination
of the chain of events that occur after the MBR is loaded.
