I had one too. It made weird creaking sounds and the ball slipped really
bad. I called them and they replaced it over the phone with a new one. I
gave the new one to a newbie that didn't know any better and I sold the
other one on ebay. I got a Logitech Optical Wheel and it was much better.
The reviewer hit the nail on the head.
