Bookmark Organizers--3rd Party?

W

W. Wat son

I use Moz and find that it is difficult to organize my nearly 3500 bmrks.
I'm familiar with the folders, dran and drop, etc. My bmrks are somewhat
organized, but it's increasingly difficult to continue this. I've only used
IE a bit, but don't think it offers anything better. What I recall from
using Firefox for a few weeks is that it is no better than Moz. So is there
some 3rd party s/w out there that can help?

Hi W. Wat son :)

Try the following and see if they are what you are looking for:

URL Organizer - Free
http://www.urlorg.com/freeware/
Bookmark Software - Freeware
http://www.soft411.com/software/bookmark.html

There are many of others that are not freeware. Just search Google for URL
or Bookmark ogranizers.

Hope this helps

These might do the trick. I've scoured with Google using "bookmark
manager", but rejected most. I finally latched onto organizer, and posted
here. What a difference a word makes!

Hope they will work for you. In my book....free is always a good thing.
But, if not, post back and we'll see if there are others that might. :)

Jan :)

There are a lot of 3rd party bookmark managers out there.
My favorite one is bookkey (http://www.bookkey.com). It uses keywords
instead of folders to organize the bookmarks.

Are the organizers mentioned in this thread independent of the browser in
such a way that once I re-organize them I can return them to the browser?

I'm especially interested in Moz. I don't want to have one and my browser
always running at the same time. I'd rather re-organize weekly or monthly
and then continue to use Moz until I need a re-org.
