Bookmark manager for Opera/IE/Firefox - again

S

sth

Hi!
Tried to search for Bookmark Manager here on newsgroup and read some
posts. Installed JetLinks 1.2. Worked nice - but took 10sec to open a
link, and it seemed somewhat buggy. Also tried Columbine Bookmark Merge
(CBM) - but it is kind of old.

Also tried to check tucows.com/snapfiles.com/downloads.com to find
FREEWARE programs to check. However I did not succeed in finding a good
one. I want these features:

- Import/export to/from Opera/IE/Firefox
- One "sentral" program that handles the bookmarks and updates
bookmarks in browsers when needed
- When bookmarks are saved they will be saved in the program - not in
the browser itself

Is there any FREEWARE programs that fullfill some/all of my needs?
Thanks for all replies in advance.

For way over a year now, I've used URLBase 5 Personal Edition to convert
from Opera Bookmarks to IE Favorites.
The Personal Edition is freeware. They just updated to URLBase 6 a few
days ago.

I was using URLBase 5 Personal Edition but found it buggy after a
while and FIrefox had the optional extension to actually view IE
Favorites as Bookmarks, so I opted for that and stopped using URLBase
5 Personal Edition. But I recently downloaded URLBase 6 Personal
Edition and wow what an improvement, also the fact I am now using
Mozilla SeaMonkey and it does not use the old Firefox extenson as yet
to view IE Favorites as Bookmarks, sure you can import at time of
install, or manage, then delete, then import a html version of your
Favorites made with Columbine Bookmark Merge, but this wa a pain,
using URLBase 6 Personal Edition makes it a breeze, I hope they keep
up the good work, and bring even further improvement although I cna
not see what they could possible be.

Thank-you
