book template(?)

Hi!
A friend was asking for my help and I didn't have any ideas. She said she
was working on a book template. She said she then hit save and saved it.
She says that is all she did. Now all her previously saved documents are
coming up with all the gridlines from the book template. When sent to print,
however, the printed copy does not show the gridlines. When Word is started,
the gridlines show up on the blank document also. How do I get this
cleared??? Please be aware I'm not super tech savvy.

Thanks so much for any help!!

Is this the drawing grid? Display the Drawing toolbar and choose Grid from
the Drawing menu, then clear the check box for "Display gridlines on
screen." If the "gridlines" are text boundaries, these are toggled on the
View tab of Tools | Options.
