From the BONC Wiki

The process to return Results is a two stage process with the first stage being the return to the Project of the Result Data File which contains the actual information that has been derived from the processing of the Work Unit on the Participant's Computer.
The second stage occurs when the BOINC Client Software contacts the Scheduling Server to "report" the Result. At this point the Work Unit is removed from the Work Tab.
But you should be running a WU while its waiting to report your results. Maybe its worth checking your profile in device manager over at WCG?

Do you have BOINC set to 'Network Activity Always Avaliable' under the Commands tab?

Your using broadband? Set it on 'Always Available' ;)

How have you got it set up in your preferences?

Go to My Grid > Device Manager > and check the set up for the profile your pc is using.

Check the set up of the following options-

Connect to the Internet only between:

Connect to network about every:

What does it say?

Leave your Boinc Manager set at based on preferences.

At WCG, go to the boinc default profile and set 'connect to the network every' to 0.005 days.
