bold for unread mail in subfolder not visible in upper folder

In a large mailbox and many rules for moving incoming mail, you may easily
miss incoming mail. It may be hidden in a folder with subfolders and sud-sub
folders. It would be convenient if the folder that contains subfolders where
your rules have moved unread mail, is shown in bold too, in the same way as
new mail is identified by bold in the subfolder. Now I have to open all my
folders to see if there is new mail in anyone of its subfolders. Hope I
didn't overlook obvious solutions to this but I've allready spent some time
on it with no result so far.
Thanks to all for reading and reacting,

I don't think you've missed anything since Outlook doesn't 'bubble up'
unread status to higher folders. OL2003 has a feature called Search Folders
that allows you to look in one place for all unread messages (among a slew
of other things).
